The festival season in Ghana just got even more bananas with the coming of Afronation, a 4-day music festival going down at Laboma Beach Resort.
It's the festival's first year in Accra and they are going big out of the gate with Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Shatta Wale as headliners to name a few.
With thousands expected to attend you might be wondering just how you're going to fit this all into your end of year calendar. The festival schedule is not yet published but here are our tips for navigating four days of nonstop music and partying on the beach.
Laboma Beach Resort is super easy to get to off of La Rd, the long strip bordering Accra's coastline. It's down the road from the infamous, while not all-together clean, Labadi Beach.
There are large parking lots around the resort but Uber will likely be your easiest method of getting in and out of the festival, if you're brave an Okada is even better.
