Why you should do this
Adire's intricate design is the result of hand painted work carried out mostly by women which they wear generally worn as wrappers or used as an adornment. The textiles are a way in which Yoruba cultural heritage and ideas are conveyed to other cultures of the outside world. In this workshop you'll learn the meaning behind the practice and its designs and make your very own adire to take home.
Meet Your Curator
Tastemakers Selects experiences are curated by the Tastemakers Africa team. They may be new things we're testing out on the platform or so private that we can't reveal the host ahead of the time - either way, we're all over it so you should know it's going to be good.
