Live, original music from contemporary singer-songwriters and musicians fill Freedom park’s Amphitheater with vibes firmly rooted in African musical origins of Afro-beat, Afro-funk, Afro-hip-hop, Afro-pop and Highlife music. The only #DecemberInAfrica edition, the show starts promptly from 8.00pm and includes plenty of palm wine.
Mr. Steal Your Girl is in for some competition when he touches down and meets the playboys of Las Gidi. Nevertheless if you’re in Lagos this weekend be sure to check out the Virginia-born stunner with the smooth vocals and see if he can learn to Shoki as Chris Brown did in his performance with WizKid in South Africa. The afterparty should be a convergence of everything champagne filled and excessive because … #decemberinlagos.
